It still works for me

Ganbling activists will be hoping that the MasterCard & VISA ban is short lived. The UIGEA does not technically come into effect until June 1st 2010, giving Congressman Barney Frank and his allies time to push through legislation designed at installing a legalized and regulated online gambling industry. If new bills are not introduced before the deadline, it could become even more difficult for U.S. citizens to play online poker.

That's kind of starting to cut it a little short.
June 1st 2010 is to close for my comfort.

There are always other methods but once the credit card companies put this in full effect it may be difficult to change it. Although it would be to there full benefit once the laws are change that they accept online sites again. They are going to lose plenty in the mean time.

With the two largest credit card companies no longer a depositing option thousands of players are now left without a way to fund their accounts. However alternative payment options such as e wallets will now thrive as they work on the same premise as PayPal so players can transfer money from their bank using a third party system until the UIEGA is passed.

The rest of the world appears convinced that the Internet gambling laws are about to change in the US. That belief is what has driven the UC Group, a UK-based payment processing company, to create a US subsidiary that will be prepared to process online gambling transactions in the country.

(In recent months, there has been a growing number of lawmakers that have joined in Frank's crusade. His legislation now has more than sixty-five co-sponsors, and several have proposed different forms of Internet gambling legislation themselves.)
