[FONT=Franklin Gothic Medium]I thought I had understood the proposed New Jersey legislation would be to establish INTRAstate online gambling as legal. I take this to mean that players from outside the state would be prevented from accessing such sites. Anyone know anything deeper about this?[/FONT]

Only players within New Jersey’s borders would be allowed access to the online gambling sites provided by the Atlantic City Casinos. A powerful software suite would insure that only IP addresses inside New Jersey had access to the gaming.

While countries begin to legalise online gambling, many of the governments are taking the wrong approach. France and Italy have already regulated the online gambling industry but they have issued strict requirements for operators to acquire a license and begin accepting players.
