Gambling is a big business

So big in fact, that companies and individual people are ending up in court over different aspects of the industry. U.S. courtrooms are filling with gambling related lawsuits.

The increase in gambling related court cases does not look to be declining anytime soon. States in the country are currently expanding their casino gambling options, and that will only lead to more lawsuits.

Yep as the court system is not backed up enough already from random people suing one another, now we get even more court cases. I am sure the judges are loving this.

Will international pressure from the formidable, 27-nation European Union finally push the United States into legalizing Web bookies and online casinos?

Maybe. And maybe sooner than later.

I think we will see lots more of gambling related lawsuits. If an adult in this country (U.S.), with his or her own money, wants to engage in an activity that harms no one, how dare we prohibit it....!!

People will still gamble on the Web. I DO

The US government can say whatever they want in regards to how well the UIGEA is working, but revenue figures for the online casino industry indicate otherwise. It is the US that is still driving the multi-billion industry.
