Reply Subscribe
Representative Barney Frank is gaining more support now than he ever has in his effort to overturn the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. This past week, Frank picked up four new co-sponsors for his latest online gambling Bill.

The list now has been run up to fifty-eight co-sponsors. Representative Frank has said that he will bring the Internet gambling debate to the forefront in Congress in the Fall, and it looks as though he will have plenty of support by then.

We've said it before, but we're going to say it again - If you have not yet done so, please write your Congress members and push for the regulation of online gambling. There is no point in sending American dollars overseas when we can keep the money within our borders.

If there is money to be made from it, Congress will eventually be on that side of the debate.

I think it is sad that there has not been a law passed yet.

Then I hope the majority of Congress works for us then because Diane Fienstein does not support it no matter how many letters I've written on the matter. Her stand is that it can't be regulated for safety measures covering minors and gambling addiction. What a laugh. As thoug this is the only thing we would have to worry about for our minors. And addictions of all sorts have been around way before computers.

lol she is probably hooked in with the tobacco companys though. would be nice if they could at least leave it up to the individual and maybe a little regulation to stop sites from takingg the money and running with it .

Representative Barney Frank is slowly moving towards his goal of overturning the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. On Thursday, Representative John B. Larson became the sixty-first co-sponsor of new online gambling legislation. :thumbsup
