How illegal is online gambling in US?
The legal interpretation is: playing online poker is not illegal for US citizens, in regards to Federal Law -- unless it is a crime in an individual state, in which case the Federal Organized Crime Control Act of 1970 may apply. The Act makes it a federal crime for five or more persons to engage in a gambling business illegal under state law. Gambling online is definitely illegal in some states, but the Crime Control Act of 1970 does not apply to players. In addition, since the Crime Control Act does not refer to foreign commerce, it is hard to see how a case could be made that it applies to Internet gaming across multiple international borders.
I haven't checked into whether it is legal or not in those countries, but I have seen plenty of Brazilian poker players online. You can find some great sites to play on at casino-australia.net Most places will give you free money to try them out before you deposit, and they are all very reputable.
Heck I figured if I had access to the sites then I was able to gamble. I guess not.
I have a ton of Spanish speaking casinos for you to try out if you like.. many have free chips, no deposit needed to start!

Oh wow, I think in a while everything is going to become virtual to where we won't have to ever leave the home.
Meh, I believe that the true "fun" in gambling besides earning money (of course) is actually just being there. Its more fun if you are at a table playing with real people. I'd prefer playing with real people than playing online anyday.
