My wife and I are going to Las Vegas for the first time next month. I am a huge video poker fan but don't like to bet more than the quarter machines. Can anyone give us some ideas on where to play for good pay machines at a quarter or lower? We are staying at the Hard Rock, are their machines any good? Thanks for all the insight
In my experience, you always want to play the machines closest to the door. The idea is that people walking by hear the coins hitting the win slots, and come in. As to the Hard Rock, I don't know personally.
Well then in that case they need to pay your sort of advertising lol. I guess i dont think i fully understood what you were saying though lol.
If you want to make money, quarter slots are not the way to go. I know a guy who used to get about fifty bucks worth of dollar coins, and play dollar poker. He would usually do pretty good, He could take the fifty, and parlay it into four or five hundred.
I use to play the penny machines all the time and win about 20 bucks a go so i think that machine is great if you dont have any money.
For fun you can try the nickel slots.
Cheers
The Palms have some of the better quarter machines with regard to pay-out odds. Other than better odds, most of the casinos have the same machines with the same game chips. Best payouts odds are usually on the multiple bonus machines but best play-time chances are with the Jacks and simple bonus machines. try this site: SPAM it has some review excecly on what you are looking for and some more stuff, hope it would help.
Cheers
What the spam in my Answer? I suggested the site casino-deutsch.de which will help him to know more about quarter machines. For good pay machines at a quarter machines or lower u can have more ideas and views.

I like to play the penny machines, because it's cheaper and I don't feel bad when I don't win. I feel bad when I don't win the quarter machines though. But try the penny machines and the nickel machines, you may get more out of it.
